Denver, Colorado, is known as the Mile High City because of its altitude of 5,280 feet above sea level. But it could be a reference to how far you can hit the ball in the thin air of the Rocky Mountain front range. The area east of Denver is one of the fastest growing in the city. The E-470 toll-road has made it easier to access the area, and there's a wealth of new communities and new golf courses springing up around the road and Denver International Airport.
