Edelweiss has been family owned and operated for over four decades. In the summer months, a biergarten is operated outdoors, and year-round the interior of the restaurant is filled with circulating minstrels on Friday and Saturday. Offering both traditional German fare as well as other Continental dishes, Edelweiss offers a Swiss Chalet-like atmosphere, with flower-patterned tablecloths and antique hand tools mounted on the walls. Schnitzel Fritz prides itself on using the freshest possible ingredients to prepare traditional German dishes. This small space is decorated in a spartan fashion, with a casual and homey atmosphere. Located in a strip mall building, the restaurant is owned by a German couple.
