Alize at the Top of the Palms
This fine dining experience is located on top of the Palms Hotel. Dress is casual; suit and tie are not required, but shorts and sandals will be denied entry. Menu items range from Alaskan king crab and sea urchin appetizers to entrees such as grilled ribeye and a rack of lamb. A special menu is prepared on New Year's Eve, and Alize is open for Thanksgiving. The price reflects the exotic nature of the menu.

Rosemary's Restaurant
If you are looking to get away from the glitz of the Las Vegas, Rosemary's is well worth seeking out. Rosemary's is a little more down home than Alize, featuring items such as a Monte Cristo sandwich and Texas BBQ shrimp. Of course, there are also fine dining experiences like salmon tartar and duck confit. Getting to Rosemary's means a 20-minute drive in the best of conditions, which probably means an additional taxi fare to tourists without a car.

Mon Ami Gabi
Mon Ami Gabi is constructed to bring you into a classic French bistro in the middle of the desert. The menu is made up of items like chicken liver mousse and oysters du jour on the appetizer list, but with more traditional fare like pork tenderloin and prime cheeseburger on the entree list. There are also salads and soups, but the centerpiece is the 11 different steaks, the fresh fish selections and the extensive dessert cart featuring Banana's Foster and Creme Brulee.

Lawry's The Prime Rib
Playing golf all day can work up the appetite, so if you want to avoid all the fancy food and just get down to meat and potatoes, head to Lawry's. Prime rib is the major drawing card, but don't expect one simple choice. Lawry's specializes in prime rib, and that means no fewer than six different types to choose from.
