Caio Mein
As the name implies, this restaurant is a fusion between Italian and Chinese food called "Collision Cuisine." If you are aware of the history of pasta, you know that this Italian staple has its roots in Chinese noodles. Located in the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki, Caio Mein has an upscale ambiance which means nice aloha attire, ties and dresses are recommended. Get a variety of dishes including the honey-glazed shrimp, Raviolo Aperto and wok-fried eggplant. Pass the family-style plates around so that everyone on the table can taste these distinctive blends. Be sure to make a reservation as seating is limited. It is open nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
