Las Vegas
You don't have to be a world traveler to know that there's a lot more to Las Vegas than just playing golf. Golf, of course, is way down the list of why Las Vegas is popular. Most people go to Las Vegas so they can gamble. Many go to see the shows that are featured at most of the large hotels. Golf is plentiful here for your enjoyment. Yet, for those that don't play golf, slot machines and many other betting opportunities abound. A non-golfing wife can indulge in the shows at the big hotels, shopping at the many high-end stores and spectacular weather that allows for sunbathing by the pool.
Maui
It's hard to not have a great time when vacationing on Maui. The golfers love the Mauna Kea Resort, which has been one of the top courses in the United States for almost four decades. While the golf course is spectacular, it still has a hard time measuring up to the beautiful beaches that surround the island. Maui offers excellent walking tours to explore the natural beauty and great creature comforts in its resorts.
Disney World
Walt Disney World is a great spot for a golfer who takes his spouse on vacation. In addition to the attractions and amusements of Disney World, Epcot and Universal Studios, there are dozens of great courses in the Orlando area, including the Disney home course itself. It's convenient to meet your wife for dinner after you have both enjoyed different daytime pleasures.
