Las Vegas is famous around the world for its hotels, casinos, entertainment venues and world-class restaurants. What few people know is that Vegas is also a major regional golf destination. Notable courses such as Walters Golf, Bali Hai Golf Club, Desert Pines Golf Club and Badlands Golf Club are all located in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Metro Pizza

Metro Pizza bills itself as "Las Vegas' Best Family Pizzeria," and the Zagat guide has named it Best Pizza in Las Vegas on six occasions. Located several blocks away from the Vegas Strip, beyond the Rio Hotel and Casino, Metro Pizza offers traditional and gourmet pizzas as well as Italian-American favorites like baked ziti and eggplant parmesan. The dessert menu includes cheesecake, cannoli and a chocolate-fudge layer cake. Eat in Metro Pizza's casual dining room or do take-out for eating at a hotel or on the go.

Tournament of Kings

Located in Excalibur Hotel & Casino, Tournament of Kings is one of the few family-friendly dinner shows in town. Following a medieval theme, the show features costumed performers, a live jousting tournament, dancing and fireworks, and audience members are encouraged to cheer on their favorite performers. Tournament of Kings takes place twice nightly except on Tuesday. While at the show, you'll get a three-course meal including soup, a chicken entree and pastries for dessert.

Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant

At Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant you'll be treated to a breakfast-themed casual dining experience. The menu includes waffles, crepes, omelets and pancakes, all of which you can order 24 hours a day. Blueberry Hill also serves entrees such as sandwiches and burgers, along with a kids' menu that includes chicken fingers, a pancake special and other smaller-portioned meals. The restaurant prides itself on using exceptional ingredients such as pure Colombian coffee and USDA prime beef and eggs.
