TPC Las Vegas
TPC Las Vegas opened in 1996 and is the only public PGA Tour course in the city. Golf Digest listed it as one of the "Best Places to Play" in 2006 and 2007, while Golf World included it in its "Top 50 Public Courses" in 2009. TPC is just 20 minutes west of the Las Vegas Strip, in the quaint suburban community of Summerlin, but designers Raymond Floyd and Bobby Weed included elevation changes, local vegetation and scenic desert views in the course layout to give TPC a rugged, natural feel. The Par 71 course is 18 holes spread over 7,063 yards and includes many challenging shots that require strategy and planning. TPC is rated at four and a half hours and requires appropriate golf attire.
