Salvatore's
Daytime views of Boston's Inner Harbor at Salvatore's are as spectacular as those at night, and the menu prices for lunch are pretty spectacular as well. The menu includes appetizers like fresh mussels sauteed in olive oil with garlic and hot peppers, salads like Tomato Caprese with basil and fresh mozzarella, sandwiches like Sicilian Prociutto di Parma with mozzarella, basil and olive oil and pasta classics like gnocchi and eggplant Parmesan with linguine marinara. Pizzas come in two sizes--12" and 19". If the weather is good, call ahead to reserve an outdoor table.

Rowe's Wharf Sea Grille
Chef Daniel Bruce chas designed an impressive menu at the Rowe's Wharf Sea Grill in the landmark Boston Harbor Hotel. The hotel is just a short walk from most downtown attractions, including the Boston Aquarium and historic Faneuil Hall. The restaurant, which opened in May of 2009, features outdoor dining on a spacious waterfront patio shaded with white umbrellas. The views from all corners of the indoor dining room are special as well. Appetizers include Long Island Duck confit with black lentils, Tuscan kale, and parsnips. About half of the dinner entrees feature seafood, but there is also a ginger-rubbed lamb sirloin as well as grilled Filet Mignon and sirloin steak. The restaurant also serves a classic afternoon tea accompanied by scones, shortbreads, tea cakes, finger sandwiches and champagne.
