Guide to Las Vegas Restaurants

Guide to Las Vegas Restaurants
Las Vegas was once a one-attraction town with little else to do but gamble. Over time, that culture changed and fine dining was born. Some of the most renowned chefs in the world have now established restaurants in Las Vegas and many diners consider their offerings to be the finest anywhere.

Joël Robuchon

Joël Robuchon came out of retirement to redefine fine dining in Las Vegas. His effort paid off as his restaurant, Joël Robuchon, has received three stars from the Michelin Guide and earned the coveted 5 Star Award from Mobil. The restaurant is one of the few in Las Vegas to feature a "tasting menu"--16 courses offering small portions of its signature dishes. Seating is limited, so make reservations.

Rosemary Restaurant

If the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas leaves you yearning for a home-cooked meal, Rosemary's is your kind of place. This "neighborhood-style" restaurant serves some of the best food you'll find in Las Vegas. At Rosemary's, you'll find typical American food cooked in the French way with a nod toward the Midwest, New Orleans and the South. Not to be outdone by fancier restaurants in town, its wine list has been lauded by Wine Spectator magazine. This restaurant is a popular attraction in Las Vegas and always busy.

Picasso

Chef Julian Serrano had his hands full when he agreed to launch Picasso. In addition to the $35-million array of paintings created by the master, you'll marvel at the restaurant's offering of more than 1,500 wines hand-selected from European vineyards. But they're no match for the culinary artistry of Serrano. The chef's cuisine relies heavily on his experience in Spain and the south of France where he trained and where Picasso spent most of his life. Unlike many other restaurants in Las Vegas, Chef Serrano not only puts his name on the door, he puts himself in the kitchen.
