Gusto! Ristorante Italiano
This 2008 winner of The Taste of Little Italy opens Tuesday through Sunday for dinner. Gusto! offers fine dining and a covered outdoor patio with ceiling fans. The menu showcases veal tortellini in a prosciutto cream sauce, lasagna prepared with shrimp and crab, and a vegetarian pasta in walnut pesto. Other dinner entrees include grilled salmon in a strawberry sauce or grilled New Zealand lamb chops mixed with vegetables in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Two guests may split entrees for a fee. Happy hour runs 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, offering drink specials and small appetizer plates at the Gusto! bar.

Trattoria On The Hill
Trattoria is a family-owned and operated. They make and sell their own brand of tomato basil sauce and bruschetta salsa. Their menu offers six linguine dishes with choices such as clam sauce and mussels or tomato sauce with ground sirloin. Trattoria bakes pizza with the option of three sizes served plain or with five toppings, plus five specialty pizzas. A lasagna entrée uses traditional ingredients such as spinach, ricotta cheese and mushrooms. The restaurant also grills steaks and ribs. Prices are moderate; typically under $20 (2009). For dessert, the restaurant offers tiramisu, cannolis and cassatta cake.

Mama Santa's
Mama Santa's is open for lunch and dinner everyday except Sunday in Little Italy. The restaurant won awards for best pizza, best Italian food and best cheap eats by CitySearch Cleveland in 2007. Customers may order a small, medium or large pizza with a variety of toppings. The restaurant also serves sandwiches such as the meatball sub or veal cutlet. Pasta dishes come with different sauces and toppings and may be paired with a chicken or veal entrée. The offer beer, wine and sodas. Entrees are reasonably prices.
