Hot Wok Express has the distinction of being one of the few Chinese restaurants in Flagstaff that deliver. The décor of Hot Wok Express reflects that. The furnishings wouldn't seem out of place in a fast food restaurant, with plastic chairs and tables. The menu offerings are Chinese food staples including fried rice and lo mein, won ton, egg drop and hot and sour soups, mu shu pork, orange chicken and beef and broccoli.

Flagstaff's Arizona Daily Sun has awarded Hunan West with the Reader's Choice award for best Chinese food in Flagstaff. The restaurant is small, but typically crowded, giving it a cozy ambiance. Hunan cuisine is known for spicy flavors and deep colors. Specialties at Hunan West include Genera Tso's chicken, Sesame chicken and orange or lemon chicken. The prices range lower than most Chinese restaurants in Flagstaff.
