Hana is a small village on the eastern shore of Maui, Hawaii. Hana is relatively isolated from the rest of Maui and is reached by the Hana Highway, a fifty-two mile winding road. The highway offers spectacular scenic views of waterfalls and the rugged coastline. The author James Michener coined the description, "heavenly Hana," and it stuck. Pukalani Golf Club is about eighteen miles away from Hana. The golf course is located at the base of Mount Haleakala, the extinct volcano, and offers views of the ocean on an eighteen hole par-72 course.
