Aloha Kauai Pizza is a family-owned and -operated pizza restaurant found nestled among the swaying palm trees at Coconut Marketplace, just a few minutes' drive north of the Wailua Golf Course. All pizzas, as well as Italian dishes like lasagna, are crafted with house-made sauces and authentic Italian recipes imported from Europe. The historic Tip Top Cafe first opened in the early 1900s. Since then, it has earned a popular reputation with locals for its cheap breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, many ringing in at less than $10 in 2009. Breakfast items include fresh-baked muffins and Hawaiian macadamia nut pancakes, perfect for enjoying while on your way to an early round of golf at the nearby Puakea Golf Course. Regular entrees aren't the only thing available in a to-go container. Try their malasadas, a Portuguese pastry delicacy that's similar to doughnut holes but bigger and coated in a thick layer of sugar.

Located just minutes from the two championship golf courses at the Princeville St. Regis Resort designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Hanalei Gourmet is a boutique restaurant that specializes in healthy entrees. All menu items--including the restaurant's artisan wines--can be packed in an insulated take-out container to enjoy on a nearby golf course or beach. Try any of their seafood entrees, such as shrimp boiled in broth and spritzed with melted garlic butter, or a Hawaiian seafood sampler made with local fish and served alongside breadsticks from the local Kilauea Bakery.
