Whale-Watching, Maui
You will be hard pressed to find a better place to go whale watching than Lahaina Harbor in Maui. Every winter, herds of humpback whales go through the Hawaiian waters to mate and birth their calves. Taking a boat out into the open waters just outside of the harbor will give you the best opportunity to see these endangered animals in their natural habitat--swimming, feeding and breeching. If you're lucky you can catch green sea turtles, dolphins and Hawaiian monk seals on your tour as well.
