Black Hawk, CO Hotels
Back in the 1800s, miners came seeking their fortune in the hills of Colorado. Those who found it were often times guilty of spending it in the small mountain community of Black Hawk. Today, the spending of personal riches is no less true to the area, only this time it's those coming from Denver and the surrounding area who are spending their fortunes in the town's network of casinos. While still historic, the town of Black Hawk draws lots of visitors, many of whom choose to stay in town at one of the area hotels. If you're looking for a round of golf, you'll have to head the 45 minutes to Evergreen Golf Course or Raven, which is an hour's drive from Blackhawk.
