Boston is known for its landmarks, such as the Paul Revere House and Beacon Hill, but the city and nearby areas also feature prominent golf courses. TPC Boston is a private golf club in Norton, Massachusetts. It has an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer, and it hosts the PGA's Deutsche Bank Championship each year. Boston is home to the 18-hole George Wright Golf Course, which was designed by Donald Ross and finished by the Works Progress Administration. A number of historic hotels in Boston are near these golf courses.

Omni Parker House Hotel

The Omni Parker House is located about seven miles from the George Wright Golf Course. It's also near the Orpheum Theatre, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Bunker Hill Monument and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The hotel was built in 1855, and it lies on Boston's Freedom Trail. It's considered the birthplace of the Boston cream pie, according to "Historic Hotels of America." Each guest room features a robe, high-speed Internet access, on-demand movies and a complimentary newspaper. Amenities at the hotel include a fine-dining restaurant, a fitness center and a gift shop.

Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers

The Boston Park Plaza Hotels and Towers is a historic Boston hotel that opened in 1927. It has hosted a number of presidents. It's located near the Boston Common and Public Garden, Logan International Airport, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Newbury Street, Paul Revere House and the Boston Children's Museum. The hotel is found about seven miles from the George Wright Golf Course. Guest rooms at the hotel feature high-speed Internet access, on-demand movies and room service. Amenities at the hotel include a concierge service, a barber shop and salon, a business center, a fitness center, a gift shop, nine restaurants, a jewelry store and airport shuttles.

Lenox Hotel

The Lenox Hotel is a boutique hotel that is about seven miles from the George Wright Golf Course. It's also located near Newbury Street, the New England Aquarium and the Wang Center for the Performing Arts. The Lenox Hotel was built in 1900. It was the site for the Tony Curtis film "The Boston Strangler." Guest rooms at the hotel feature high-speed Internet access, room service, on-demand movies and robes. Amenities at the hotel include an Irish pub, a lounge area, an American-style restaurant, a business center, a fitness center, a concierge service and spa treatments.
