Legends Golf Courses in Myrtle Beach
Legends is a very large golf resort that has four golf courses on the site and is affiliated with two more off-site. The Oyster Bay, Heathland, Heritage Club and Moorland course are all located on-site and all provide an 18-hole championship golf experience. \Legends Golf Resort is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, along the famous Grand Strand and also offers wonderful amenities and lodging facilities.

Oyster Bay Course

The Oyster Bay Course is an 18-hole, par 70, 6,685-yard course that has a rating of 72.1 and a slope of 136. The course was designed by Dan Maples and Larry Young and features plenty of lakes and marsh-oriented holes. There are two, island green par 3's that are as beautiful as they are challenging as well as a few lengthy par 4's that provide interesting difficulty as well. The course is open year-round and the rates begin around $95 and include cart rentals.

Heathland Course

The Heathland Course is an 18-hole, par 71, 6,959-yard course that has a rating of 73.4 and a slope of 131. The course was designed Tom Doak and has only a few tall trees and bushes, which makes for optimal visibility but windy conditions. The course has an Old Country feel because it's filled with plenty of deep rough borders along the fairways. The course is open year-round and the rates begin around $95 per round, per person, and includes cart rental.

Heritage Club Course

The Heritage Club Course is an 18-hole, par 71, 7,118-yard course that has a course rating of 75.3 and a slope of 145. The course was designed by Dan Maples and has giant magnolia trees, 300-year-old oak trees, lakes and marshes throughout. Wildflowers and flowering shrubs outline the spacious fairways and greens. The course is open year-round and rates begin as low as $95 per round, per person, and includes cart rental.

Moorland Course

The Moorland Course is an 18-hole, par 72, 6,799-yard course that has a rating of 73.1 and a slope of 128. The course first opened in 1990, was designed by P.B. Dye, and is filled with extremely large bunkers. The 16th hole is a difficult 245-yard par 4 with an enormous bunker that guards the greens and is nicknamed "Hell's Half Acre" for reasons that are self-explanatory. The course is open year-round and rates begin around $95 and include cart rentals.
