London is more than a golf destination. Although the city is home to a number of memorable courses like the Central London Golf Club, there are a variety of attractions to visit while staying in the city. When looking for a break from teeing off, visitors should enjoy a tour of Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey. There are also many other lesser known attractions to enjoy.

Urban Golf

Urban Golf makes golfing a possibility 12 months of the year in London. As an island, England is often cold and windy in winter months making outdoor golf impossible or completely miserable. Urban Golf offers a complete golf course indoors. Golfers and their partners can play golf at a number of courses worldwide under one roof. Tate Modern

Tate Modern is London's leading museum of contemporary art. The popular art museum houses a number of popular artists, including Picasso, Dali and Warhol. The museum stretches over four floors. Visitors should stop by the information booth to select a tour of the museum that fits their interest best. Some collections are put together for a bad day, lovers and more. The best part is admission to the Tate Modern is free.

London Eye

The London Eye is one of London's most popular attractions. The large Ferris wheel was built to celebrate the new millennium in 2000 and has attracted millions of visitors annually since its opening. Pods are situated on the wheel that can hold groups of five people. As the wheel rotates, tourists can enjoy the best views of London. No part is left unseen.
