After an 11-month renovation, the Cheeca Lodge & Spa Resort re-opened in December 2009 with upgraded guest rooms, common areas and two new restaurants. Long a well-known fishing resort, the Cheeca Lodge & Spa has a private beach with a 525-foot pier, a luxury spa and a pool area surrounded by waterfalls. Modern, upscale guest rooms are decorated in island chic and feature marble bathrooms with glassed-in rain showers and soaking tubs.
