Located halfway between the Pepsi Center and Coors Field, the LoDo Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant is a fun place to meet for Happy Hour. The comprehensive Sushi Den restaurant features fresh fish flown in from the fish markets of Fukuoka on Kyushu Island, Japan. The younger brother of the chef lives in Japan and makes daily 4 a.m. trips to the fish market. His hand-selected fish is immediately vacuumed-packed with dry ice and arrives in Denver within 24 hours. That fish is incorporated into an extensive sushi, sashimi and handroll menu.
