Fresh produce is used in the dishes, which include Paw Peea Sod (a fresh rice paper roll stuffed with pork, shrimp, lettuce and coriander) and Tod Mun Gai (deep fried chicken patties served with cucumber salad). Erawan was voted best Thai restaurant in 2002 by the Syracuse New Times.

Lemon Grass
Lemon Grass Thai on Jefferson Street downtown gets great reviews for its Pud Thai, with one reviewer who had lived in Thailand with her husband for several years calling it "possibly one of the best Pud Thai's and most flavorful I have had." The Lemon Grass is located next door to the historic Jefferson Hotel, and is considered one of the nicer restaurants in Syracuse.
