The Thai Siam restaurant claims to be the "first Thai restaurant in Louisville." It opened in 1990. It features a range of typical Thai dishes, including Pad Thai (noodles and beef, chicken or pork with sauce and vegetables), curry chicken and kao pad (fried rice). It also features vegetarian dishes. This restaurant has a casual atmosphere and it is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. It closes between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. It is just over three miles from the Audubon Country Club.

Simply Thai
Another option is Simply Thai. It serves lunch, dinner and has a sushi menu. The restaurant serves the classics like pad thai, along with dishes like Nam Prjk ong, which is a tomato and onion dish with pork or tofu. It also serves Sukj-hawng, which is bean threaded noodles, mango salmon and sea bass. It features vegetable-only dishes, and it is run by a husband and wife team that are well known in the community.

Thai Taste Restaurant
If golfing at the River Road Country Club, one option is to try the Thai Taste restaurant. It is less than two miles from the golf course. It features a lunch buffet that features several kinds of curry and tofu dishes. On the menu, diners will find pad Thai along with jungle and green curry. This is a small restaurant that has a very informal atmosphere.
