The Fort Golf Resort
Formerly Fort Benjamin Harrison Army base (from 1903 until 1995), the Fort Golf Resort was redeveloped into a state park and golf resort. The Harrison House lodge, on 1,700 scenic acres, has suites and single guest rooms. Nearby, three former officers' homes have been updated and fully furnished for guests. Each one has three bedrooms, two sofa beds and two and a half baths. Each suite has a desk, each room has cable TV, a refrigerator, a coffee pot and an ironing board. The resort includes an 18-hole golf course, two hiking trails, a saddle barn, riding trails, fishing and picnic areas.
