The Best Western Beach Resort is located on the beach. The hotel offers a continental breakfast daily and has an outdoor heated pool. Waverunners and kayaks are also available. All rooms feature balconies and full kitchens. There is a cottage suite that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private balcony. It is a pet-friendly resort and the fee as of November 2009 is $25 per night for pets less than 25 lbs. It does not accept larger pets.

Casa Playa Resort
Casa Playa Resort is a condominium resort located on the beach at the north end of Estero Island. All units feature microwaves, refrigerators and full kitchens. Each unit has a private balcony, and views of the Gulf of Mexico or San Carlos Bay. There is a heated pool. The resort is pet friendly, although it accepts pets that weigh less than 50 pounds. The pet fee is $25 per night.

Silver Sands Resort
Silver Sands Resort is located on the bay side of Estero Island. It is located on a canal, and access to the Gulf of Mexico is by boat. The resort is only a few steps from the beach. It has a heated swimming pool. The resort has been in operation since 1935 and is considered a landmark. It is a small resort of 20 cottages each having their own kitchens. Kayaks are available from its dock. Pets are welcome and there is no fee.
