Austin, Texas, is a pet-friendly city, with plenty of parks, outdoor venues and shops that welcome pets and their owners. Hotels that allow pets are numerous as well, so there's no need to leave Fido behind when traveling to Texas. There are more than 30 golf courses in the Austin area, so golfers have plenty of opportunities to put their skills to the test. Once the clubs are down, however, visitors to Austin can go back to their hotels and enjoy a well-earned night of rest with their four-legged friends.
