These studio-like rooms offer kitchen facilities, guest laundry and work space. Those who want standard rooms can take one without a kitchen, but the price difference is small and the studios provide the option of eating in if you want to save money. Free Internet and local phone calls. Only one pet per room. While all pets and sizes and welcome, managers may impose restrictions if the hotel is too busy or under other circumstances. Let the hotel know you're bringing a pet when you make a reservation. As of 2009, there is a nightly fee of $25 (up to a maximum of $150). This is nonrefundable and must be paid at check-in.

Despite its thrifty name, the Econo Lodge offer a number of amenities found in top-of-the-line hotels. This includes free continental breakfast, Internet connection and local phone calls. Rooms are simple but well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Only one pet of 20 pounds or less is allowed in each room. A non-refundable deposit paid at check-in covers the whole stay, no matter how long. As of 2009, the fee is $50.
