List of Airlines With a Low Fare Business Class
Saving money on airfares does not mean settling for "cattle car" class service. Several airlines offer business class service at discount prices. Others offer passengers the opportunity to obtain discounted fares on business class flights on legacy airlines. Either option allows savvy air passengers to enjoy the amenities of business class travel at much lower prices.

Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines offers holiday sale prices in its Business First class between the United States and Europe. The flights require a round-trip ticket with purchase at least 21 days in advance, and fees were not included in the final price.

AirTran Airways

AirTran advertises itself as "the nation's first and only affordable Business Class" airline. AirTran features larger seats in two-by-two aisle configurations, no baggage fees for the first and second checked bags, priority boarding and complimentary cocktails. Business class upgrades are available online, at check-in kiosks, ticket counters or at the gate on a first-come, first served basis.

LOT Polish Airlines

LOT Polish Airlines offers business class fares at significantly lower prices on several routes, including New York City to London, Los Angeles to London and Chicago to Frankfurt (Germany). Business class passengers have access to LOT Polish Airlines Executive Lounges to relax or work before flight departure.

Finnair

Finnair offers business class service between New York City and several points within Europe, including London, at prices below those of American legacy airlines. Helsinki-Vantaa airport features dedicated check-in for business class passengers. Business class passengers on all flights can enjoy complimentary newspapers and snacks, with business facilities at their disposal. Business class passengers on all flights enjoy flexibility in scheduling, check-in and flight changes and lie-flat seats. Business class passengers also have a more generous baggage allowance than coach passengers and priority baggage handling.

Business Fare Discounters

Several online services offer passengers the opportunity to purchase deeply discounted business flights from legacy airlines. These services offer significant savings of up to 60 percent of the customary business class airfare. Even with these discount fares, passengers can earn frequent flier miles and enjoy the customary amenities of business class service.
