The Alamo
Over 2.5 million people visit The Alamo, situated on a 4.2 acre complex, a year. The 300-year-old Mission San Antonio de Valero is where 189 Texas defenders held off 4,000 soldiers from the Centralist army of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna for 13 days. Since the battle in March 1836, the Alamo Defenders have symbolized the sacrifice and courage for liberty. When visiting The Alamo, it is recommended to view the artifacts of some of the heroes, such as David Crockett's buckskin vest, a rifle used in battle and William B. Travis' ring. Also, visitors may view The Alamo Gardens and the Wall of History nearby.

The River Walk in San Antonio is the top tourist attraction in Texas. Also, it is the oldest Spanish-colonial water system. The San Antonio River has supplied water since the beginning of five historic missions. Today, the river is still imperative to the San Antonio area. The River Walk features numerous hotels, bars, restaurants, shopping outlets and property rentals on the premises. Visitors may be interested in shopping at Rivercenter Mall or taking a cruise along the San Antonio River.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Six Flags Fiesta Texas offers live entertainment and sensational rides, including a free water park, for the entire family. Thrill-seekers may try one of wildest and gut-wrenching roller coasters, like "Man of Steel," "Boomerang" or the inverted steel ride, "Goliath." Attractions in which the whole family may enjoy are the Texas-shaped wave pool, Lone Star Lagoon: Scooby-Doo Ghostblasters or Whistle Stop, where guests have a tour around Six Flags on a train. There are numerous stops throughout the park to grab a bite to eat or shop.
