Pasco County, Florida, is on the western coast of Florida, stretching across 868 square miles. Its cities include Port Richey, New Port Richey, Dade City, St. Leo, Zephyrhills and San Antonio. Pasco County is home to several public golf courses that are both challenging and beautiful. The warm, pleasant climate makes golf a year-round activity.

River Ridge Golf Club

The River Ridge Golf Club has an 18-hole, par 68 short course that first opened in 1985. The total distance from the tees to the holes is 4,087 yards from the front tees and 4,615 yards from the back tees. The course has a rating of 62.5, a slope rating of 100 and is open year round. Wildlife such as deer and rare birds appear sometimes on the course, and the ponds even have alligators. There is also a pro shop, restaurant, bar, putting greens, a banquet facility which holds events as well as club and carts rentals all on the premises.

Links of Lake Bernadette

The Links of Lake Bernadette is an 18-hole, par 71 course that opened in 1983 and was designed by Dean Refram. The course has a total distance from the tees to the cups of 5, 423 yards from the front tees, 6,044 yards from the middle tees and 6,484 yards from the farthest tees. It has a course rating of 71.8, a slope rating of 126 and numerous pine trees throughout every hole. There are a driving range, pro shop, golf pro, restaurant and bar on site. Club and cart rentals are available.

Magnolia Valley Golf Club

The Magnolia Valley golf club has an 18-hole, par 72 championship course, which first opened in 1979. The total distance between the tees and the holes is 4, 869 yards from the front tees, 5,533 yards from the mid tees and 6,106 yards from the back tees. The course was designed by Phil Leckey and has a course rating of 69.9 and a slope rating of 121. There are a driving range, golf pro, putting green, chipping area, pro shop, rentals of carts and clubs as well as a bar and grill on the premises. There is also a smaller nine-hole, par 36 short course at the Magnolia Valley Golf Club.
