Only two public golf courses are located within five miles of Windward Sail Motel--Biddeford Saco Country Club and Willowdale Golf Club. The motel provides two double beds, 19-inch cable television, air conditioning, kitchen, stove, refrigerator, plates, table, chairs, telephone, silverware and toasters in each room. The room's decor is clean and simple. The motel contains a decent sized outdoor pool, and the beach is located within walking distance. Of the 23 rooms, only one does not possess a kitchen. Located a short distance off Old Orchard Beach's seven-mile stretch of sand, The Yellow Giraffe Motel is family owned and operated. The 25-room hotel offers nonsmoking rooms and kitchen units as well as six other room varieties. With rustic and simple decor, the hotel opens only for the tourist season in the summer. Only three public courses are within a five-mile radius of the hotel. At less than five miles from the motel, Deep Brook Golf Course claims the title of "Southern Maine's Best Valued 9-hole course."

The Waves Ocean Front Resort includes four cottages and individual rooms. Two cottages sit on the beach. All cottages include a full kitchen, with microwave, stove and refrigerator. Cottages sleep six to eight people, and each room sleeps two to four. The hotel describes itself as a "complex of several buildings, all of which are no more than 150 yards from the beach, many with nice ocean views." Rooms and cottages include cable television. Four private golf courses and three public golf courses are just a short drive away.
