North Austin, Texas Hotels
Austin considers itself the live music capital of the world. The city has over 200 performance spaces, and few cities put in the kind of effort Austin does to connect resident musicians with industry leaders. The Austin City Limits and South by Southwest music festivals bring tens of thousands of musicians and spectators together every year, and both festivals have launched the careers of dozens of artists. Austin is also considered the golf capital of Texas, so come for a concert and stay to play Barton Creek, Apple Rock and Wolfdancer. The many Austin hotels, some of which are located in north Austin, offer a variety of accommodation choices to travelers.
