If you're staying in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, to play nearby golf courses such as Sycamore Creek, Rockwood or Colonial, you'll likely be looking for dining spots within the downtown area. "Cowtown" may be most famous for steak houses, but other possibilities are available, with Sundance Square being one of the more popular locations for restaurants and other social establishments.

Reata Restaurant

This Sundance Square restaurant, housed in the former Caravan of Dreams building, is a steak house that also offers Southern, Southwestern and Creole fare. Specialties include pepper-crusted tenderloin, Buffalo ribeye, chicken enchiladas and tenderloin tamales. The Reata operates a satellite restaurant at the Stockyards during the annual Fort Worth Stock Show in January.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle
