Steak Restaurants in Toronto, Canada
Toronto, Ontario, is home to some of Canada's most recognizable landmarks, including the CN Tower. It's also home to some of the province's many steak restaurants. After a round of golf at the nearby Don Valley or St. George's golf courses, enjoy dinner and a drink at one of Toronto's highly rated steak restaurants.

Barberian's Steak House

Barberian's Steak House is a veteran of Toronto's steak world, having been built in the 1950s. The restaurant continues to display vestiges of its past--including antique paintings, furniture and sculptures. The restaurant has been called "Ontario's best vintage dining," by Wine Access Magazine in September 2006, and the city's best steakhouse, by Now Magazine in November 2006. Choose your favorite cut, with options including New York sirloin steaks, prime rib and filet mignon. Your cut will be seasoned with the house steak spice, made with sea salts and imported spices and herbs. Choose a wine from the restaurant's 30,000-bottle cellar. Steak entrees ranged from $30 to $60 in 2009.

The Fifth Grill & Terrace

The Fifth Grill & Terrace has been given high marks by Toronto Life magazine and claims to have the best outdoor patio seating in the city. The restaurant also has an expansive indoor lounge and seating area. The Fifth Grill fuses French culinary traditions with slabs of Canadian beef. A popular menu item is the tournedos rossini, which combines foi gras and truffle butter. Steak dishes ranged in price from $30 to $50 in 2009.

Harbour Sixty Steak House

The pricey Harbour Sixty Steak House features panoramic views of Lake Ontario and Toronto's harbor waterfront. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. For lunch, choose a basic dish like a prime-rib sandwich paired with buttermilk onion rings, soaked in the restaurant's trademark peppercorn jus. For dinner, the steakhouse offers nine types of grilled steaks, with optional seafood options including Atlantic lobster or king crab. Finish with a selection from the restaurant's exhaustive dessert menu. Beef dinner entrees for two cost around $100 in 2009. Appetizers, wine and other amenities are priced separately.
