Cancun is a tropical paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches, all-inclusive hotels and many activities to fill your vacation. Try your hand at a round of golf at the Cancun Golf Club at Pok Ta Pok or swim through an underground river for a unique experience. Whether you just want to lie on the beach, tour ancient Mayan ruins, get a thrill on a zip line, or visit one of many interesting attractions, there is something for everyone at this Caribbean vacation spot.
Interactive Aquarium
Located in the Cancun "hotel zone," Interactive Aquarium is much more than a bunch of fish in tanks. Here you can swim with dolphins or feed the sharks, as well as handle some smaller sea life such as starfish in touch tanks. There are large tanks as well where you can see stingrays, tropical fish, sharks and sea turtles interact in a habitat similar to the waters that they came from.

The Beach
You simply can't come to Cancun without visiting the beaches. With their beautiful white sand and clear blue water, you realize you're in a tropical paradise when you set foot in the sand. Here you can find such activities as sport fishing on a charter boat, surfing the waves, beachcombing, or just relaxing and catching the rays on the shore. Scuba diving is also a popular activity along the Great Mesoamerican Reef. This coral reef stretches for 450 miles and is the second largest in the world.
Xcaret
Xcaret is an ecological theme park offering guests such activities as swimming with sharks, touring a zoo and entering a butterfly pavilion where you are surrounded by hundreds of the beautiful winged creatures.
Other features include swimming with dolphins, traveling down an underground river, and snuba diving. Snuba diving is similar to scuba diving, but instead of a tank of air going down with you, a hose is attached to the mask with an air supply that stays on the surface. This allows children younger than 12 to have an underwater experience.
