If you'll be golfing in Trenton, New Jersey, at the 18-hole Trenton Country Club, and would like to plan on where to eat, either for your event catering or for a sit-down meal, there are several options. In central Trenton and the surrounding area you will find several gourmet and fine dining restaurants. For entertaining clients or for relaxing with friends these area restaurants are an excellent option.

John Henry's

If you're looking for high quality gourmet food in an elegant atmosphere, John Henry's is your place. It features a full dinner menu that offers a choice of two main dishes including tenderloin tips, stuffed flounder or chicken rollatini. The menu also offers roast pork loin, appetizers like shrimp cocktail, and scallops in bacon and a full wine and drink menu. It also has a buffet dinner option. The restaurant is very upscale, with linen table settings and classically decorated, and is about a half mile from Route 1, centrally located in Trenton.

Marsilio's Restaurant

For a fine Italian dinner or lunch after a round of golf or a tournament event, Marsilio's Restaurant is an ideal choice. It is located in the "Little Italy" section of Trenton in the Chambersburg neighborhood. The restaurant has an old world atmosphere and entrees like vodka rigatoni and chicken marsala. It also features pork, steak and veal dishes. It has a range of antipasto and appetizers including a full desert menu that features cannolis.

Amici Milano

Amici Milano serves lunch and dinner and has a "smart casual" dress code, with a warm and casual atmosphere. The restaurant serves antipasto, cold and hot appetizers like Norwegian smoked salmon and clams casino. It also features soups and salads along with main courses that include manicotti, linguine putanesca and more pasta dishes. Seafood dishes include tilapia and breadcrumbs and mussels marinara. All are prepared in the authentic Italian style. The restaurant also offers a children's menu. Prices are also reasonable and start under $10 for main courses as of 2009.
