Hotels and Motels in Denver
Playing golf in Denver is best accomplished in the summer months and early fall. The weather remains warm enough to get in some good days on the links even into November although an early snow may arrive even in September. The backdrop of the Rocky Mountains makes playing golf a memorable experience and many of the hotels here also take advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds the Denver area.

Omni Interlocken Hotel

Guests will find 27 holes of golf at this Denver-area golf resort that are spread across three different nine-hole courses. The hotel offers both traditional guestrooms and deluxe suites that include a stocked refreshment center, foam or feather pillows with down pillows available upon request. The suites include niceties, such as hardwood floors, Oriental rugs, garden tubs, king-sized sleigh beds, wet bar, refrigerator and separate living area. The fitness center is loaded with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and there is a large outdoor pool for exercise as well. After a long day on the links, golfers can soothe those sore muscles with a massage in the full-service spa. The Omni's golf facilities earned it a third place spot in a survey of the Best Resort Courses of Colorado. The major challenge of this course is its 400 feet in elevation changes.

The Brown Palace

The Brown Palace has a rich history that includes guests, ranging from U.S. Presidents to the Beatles. Standard guestrooms include in-room safes, terry-cloth robes, wireless Internet service for an additional fee, an iron and ironing board. The suites named after Presidential guests are much larger and include deluxe features like fireplaces and plush sofas. The fitness center allows guests to look through huge glass windows at the city as they get in shape for a game of golf on treadmills and universal weight machines. The full-service spa is the place to soothe muscles with a massage or body soak in the artesian wells. Fine dining can be enjoyed at the Palace Arms hotel and a more casual atmosphere is available for enjoying prime ribs and seafood at the Ship Tavern. The narrow fairway and tight sloping greens of the Denver City Park golf course is less than three miles from The Brown Palace.
