Suwannee Gables Motel & Marina

Suwannee Gables Motel is a pet-friendly establishment right on the water. They like to think of themselves as a nature-lover's retreat, as the location makes it convenient to enjoy all the local, natural attractions. Here you have your choice of a riverside cottage, suite or standard room. Every room here comes with cable television with premium channels, housekeeping service, desk and available roll-away beds. Cottages and suites fit eight people, and come with microwaves and refrigerators. Some have private decks. Plus, if swimming in the river doesn't suit you, this motel also has a pool.

Best Western Suwannee Valley Inn

This family friendly hotel is located right off the highway for easy access in central Chiefland. Rooms come with cable television, complete with STARZ, a coffee and tea maker, hairdryer, wake-up calls, and queen- and king-sized suites. Roll-away beds are available. The staff here is helpful, recommending eateries or giving directions. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool and a complimentary continental breakfast.

Beach Front Motel

The Beach Front Motel is a little further west than Chiefland, but it is worth it to be so near the water. Since the motel overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, be sure to check out a gorgeous Florida sunset while there. All rooms come with televisions and small refrigerators, and some have full kitchenettes. There are actually two private homes on the premises for rent.

Pine Lodge

The Pine Lodge is also located near the Gulf of Mexico. It is a two-story house that has been converted into a quaint inn. There are four rooms, each unique in its own way. Each has antique furnishings, cable television, ceiling fans and wireless Internet connection.
