Thai Cottage is a Thai restaurant very close to the Houston Oaks Golf and Country Club and is also a short drive from the River Oaks Country Club and the Memorial Park Golf Course. The restaurant itself, located east of downtown Houston, is open for lunch Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It opens for dinner Monday through Saturday at 5 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. Their food can be prepared at several levels of spiciness, ranging from very mild to very spicy. Thai Cottage serves traditional Thai food such as curry and rice dishes, pad Thai and other noodle dishes, Thai soups, and seafood and rice dishes. Their online menu features several vegetarian dishes. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has won several awards over the past several years and has expanded to include a few other locations around Texas.

Morningside Thai restaurant prides itself on serving authentic Thai food, and guests can either dine in, pick up take-out or have food delivered to them. Thai Spice Cafe is another Thai restaurant in downtown Houston, which means it is in a convenient location for golfers staying in downtown hotels. It is casual, yet nice and serves Thai food in a cafe decorated in a Thai style. It is only open for lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., so it is most convenient for an early lunch before a round of golf or for a late lunch after golf. The restaurant has a lunch special, where guests can get small portions of several menu items. They also offer several soups, salads, noodle entrees, entrees that consist of meat and vegetables served with rice, curry entrees and desserts.
