Tavern On the Green
Tavern on the Green is located inside the park at 67th street and has been one of New York City's most well-known and well-loved eateries for over 30 years. The Tavern on the Green features several indoor dining rooms as well as a central patio that has seating in a gardenlike setting. The menu features hearty bistro-style dishes like the maple brined roast rack of pork and the slow poached jumbo shrimp cocktail. The Tavern on the Green is open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily and serves food until 10 p.m.

Central Park Boathouse Cafe
The Central Park Boathouse Cafe is located on the northeastern tip of the Lake in Central Park and has excellent views across the water and of the surrounding Manhattan skyline. The Central Park Boathouse Cafe serves classic American dishes like grilled Atlantic swordfish and pan-seared Colorado lamb chops. The outside seating is seasonal but is some of the most romantic that New York City has to offer. The adjacent boathouse rents rowboats and bicycles, and there is even a gondola for hire that does tours of the lake. The Central Park Boathouse Cafe is open for lunch Monday through Friday, brunch on the weekends and dinner nightly.

South Gate Restaurant
The South Gate Restaurant is located at the southern tip of Central Park and has sweeping views of the park and the horse-drawn carriages that make their way up and down the thoroughfare daily. The menu features European-inspired fine dining classics like seared foie gras with tarragon and venison with fresh juniper, red carrots and rosemary fritters. The restaurant features private dining for groups and parties in the Studio or Gallery Rooms.
