Sam's on the Waterfront has won several awards, including "Best Romantic Restaurant" by "Chesapeake Bay" magazine and the "Diner's Choice" award from Opentable. The restaurant offers filling portions of fresh seafood, such as pan seared scallops with a lobster and avocado salad, black cod and of course Maryland-style jumbo lump crab cakes. Diners will also find plenty of meat dishes, including lamb, steak and duck.
Sam's on the Waterfront offers just as much in the way of entertainment, with live music every Friday and Saturday night from around seven. If in town for the holidays, Sam's usually has something going on, such as a Thanksgiving dinner and a New Year's Eve party.

Cantler's Riverside Inn serves almost exclusively seafood, and boasts the freshest seafood in the area. Diners can enjoy a selection of shellfish fresh from the steamer, including king crabs, blue crabs, mussels and oysters.

Cantler's offers a small selection of chicken and beef dishes, but there isn't a point in eating at Cantler's if no one in your party enjoys seafood.
