Brinnon, Wash., in Jefferson County, is not really a town but more like a community, with a population under 900. It is the home of Camp Parsons, one of the oldest Boy Scout Camps on record. There aren't many golf course in the area, but it would make an excellent side trip. A trip to Brinnon might include sightings of eagles, elk, seals, sea lions, and a vast range of other unique marine and land animals. Lodging in this remote community is limited but available.
