Sixth Street is the heart of downtown Austin's live music, bar and club scene. It is also a far cry from the silence and solitude of your average golf course, but after a day spent on the links, it is a great place to relax and enjoy a live band with some great food. However, unlike the similar Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Sixth Street is nearly void of hotels, with only two, and one in between Fifth and Sixth. In either case, these hotels provide class and comfort.
