Hitting the links all day can be relaxing, yet tiresome. After a long day on the golf course, there is nothing like a nice meal. Denver, Colo., is not just known for all of its beautiful and scenic golf courses, like the Denver Country Club or the Park Hill Golf Club, but also for its awesome buffalo restaurants. If you're in town for the golfing, then you should go and try the buffalo at one of these restaurants.
The Buckhorn Exchange
The Buckhorn Exchange is not just a great place to get a buffalo smokehouse burger, but also an ideal place to eat exotic foods including elk, rattlesnake and even fried alligator tail. Entrees include buffalo tenderloin steak and buffalo prime rib. If you are especially hungry after a day of golfing, buffalo entrees come in 8 to 14 ounce serving sizes. The Buckhorn exchange is also Denver's oldest restaurant, in service since 1893. Though The Buckhorn Exchange is a casual restaurant, reservations are highly recommended to be sure you get a table at any time of day, especially after a game of golf.
