By Timothy Sexton

Hotels in the Dallas-Arlington Area
Dallas and Arlington share space in central Texas and offer visitors the chance to enjoy Texas Rangers baseball or auto racing at the Texas Motor Speedway. Families with kids should consider a visit to Six Flags Over Texas while history buffs will certainly want to pay a respectful visit to Dealey Plaza where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Both Dallas and Arlington offer challenging golf courses, such as the Golf Club of Dallas and Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington. Following are some of the hotels in the area.

Westin Galleria Dallas

Guests sleep in comfort atop Westin's trademark Heavenly Bed at this hotel that is located within the Galleria shopping center. Rooms feature pay-per-view movies, a refrigerator, 24-hour room service and refreshment center. The Second Floor Bistro Bar offers intimate dining on fine cuisine while the Oceanaire Seafood Room provides a much more casual atmosphere in which to enjoy items like fish and crab.
