Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and the home of the main campus of the University of Wisconsin. The campus features a terrace along Lake Mendota, shops and restaurants along State Street and football games at Camp Randall Stadium. The university campus is located near golf courses like the 6,398-yard Maple Bluff Country Club course and the 6,885-yard Yahara Hills Golf Course. There are several hotels in Madison that offer easy access to the campus, the downtown area and nearby golf courses.
