Keikahanui Nuku Hiva Pearl Lodge
This lodge is located on Nuku Hiva, the largest of the Marquesas Islands, and overlooks a black sand beach and the village of Taiohea. It is located about two hours by four-wheel-drive-vehicle from the airport, or about seven minutes by helicopter. Airport transfers can be arranged with the lodge concierge. Hanakee Hiva Oa Pearl Lodge
The island of Hiva Oa features banana and papaya groves, forests, waterfalls, sandy coasts and wild horses. This lodge on Hiva Oa faces the 3,903-foot-high Mount Temetiu and offers views of Traitors Bay, the tiny island of Hanakee and the volcanic island of Tahuata in the distance. Relais Moehau
Relais Moehau is a modern two-story house at the entrance to Atuona Village on Hiva Oa. Guest rooms are offered on the top floor of the family-owned and operated hotel and open out onto the wrap-around veranda. Double and single bedrooms are available, all with a private bathroom, television and ceiling fan. Guests enjoy beach access, an on-site Internet terminal and access to laundry facilities. Relais Moehau's restaurant is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves Marquesan, Polynesian and French cuisine and specializes in wood-fired pizza. An interesting local sight just minutes away is the graveyard where the artist Paul Gauguin and musician Jacques Brel are buried.
