Known by locals as "Beantown," Boston, Massachusetts, is one of the country's most historic cities and is a popular tourist destination. Golfers visiting Boston will find numerous courses and golf pro shops in the surrounding area. If you're coming to Boston for a golf vacation, there are several hotels downtown that offer the convenience of being near the main attractions while also being accessible to area courses.

Omni Parker House

The Omni Parker House is a luxury hotel located in downtown Boston that has been around since 1855. Guest rooms have cherry furnishings, work desk, robes, a hair dryer, luxury bedding, coffee maker, flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi access. Travelers can enjoy a fitness center, gift shop and on-site dining. Parker's Restaurant is the birthplace of the Parker House Roll and the Boston Cream Pie. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. CityGolf Boston--an indoor golf practice facility that has driving bays, simulators and a pro shop--is just one block from the hotel.

Onyx Hotel

The Onyx Hotel is a boutique hotel in downtown Boston. Rooms have Wi-Fi access, a hair dryer, robes, work desk, Gilchrist & Soames bath products, mini-bar, 37-inch HDTV and luxury bedding. Federal Street Golf pro shop is located less than 1/2 mile from the InterContinental. The store has apparel, equipment, accessories, a hitting area, a putting green and a repair shop.
