Delray Beach French Restaurants
Delray Beach, or just Delray as residents call it, is located in southern Palm Beach County in southeast Florida. Delray Beach offers visitors an exquisite setting on Florida's east coast, with a number of restaurants offering French cuisine. Delray also has fine shopping, with the popular Atlantic Avenue being the heart of the town. Visitors will also find public and private golf courses in and around Delray Beach.

La Cigale

La Cigale offers Mediterranean cuisine in an upscale setting. The restaurant not only serves French cuisine, but also Moroccan, Greek and Italian. Reservations are accepted, and private dining rooms are available. House specialties include beef bourguignon, calf's liver and coq au vin. La Cigale is located 10 minutes from the Delray Beach Golf Club, a municipal course offering 18 holes.

Le Pavillon

Le Pavillon was established in 1993, and offers dinner at moderate prices. Lunch and dinners are priced between $10 and $16 as of 2009. Specialties include poulet scampi, duck a l'orange, and fresh seafood jerez. Reservations are accepted. Sherwood Park Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course located just 500 yards from the restaurant.

The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot serves dinner in a fondue style at a moderate price. It is located in northern Boca Raton, seven minutes from Delray Beach. Reservations are recommended. House specialties include court bouillon, coq au vin and a variety of cheese fondues. The Melting Pot is also available for private parties and frequently features specials. The Boca Raton Executive Country Club is located 15 minutes from the restaurant and is a municipal, 18-hole course.

Kathy's Gazebo Cafe

Kathy's Gazebo Cafe is an upscale establishment offering fine continental cuisine with specialties including vichyssoise, tournedos of filet mignon Henry IV, escargots bourguignone and paté Strasbourg. Kathy's is located in central Boca Raton, 10 minutes from Delray Beach. It is open for lunch on weekdays, and for dinner Monday through Saturday. Reservations are required for both lunch and dinner. The Red Reef Executive Golf Course is a nine-hole municipal course located directly on the ocean and 10 minutes from the restaurant.
