Disneyland has cultivated good relations with the city of Anaheim and, by extension, many of the hotels in the area. A number of "Good Neighbor" hotels merit special mention from the Disneyland resort, providing comfort and amenities just a short distance from the park. Many of them offer shuttle services, and they range in price to cover all budgets. Some of them take golfers' needs into account, too, and while there are no golf courses at Disneyland itself, a number of Good Neighbor hotels allow golfers to enjoy both the links and the park easily.
Hyatt Regency Orange County
The Hyatt Regency in Garden Grove represents an optimal compromise between Disneyland and the links. It stands a short distance from the park, with shuttle services leaving for Disneyland every 30 minutes. The rooftop holds a pool, Jacuzzi, workout room and a pair of tennis courts, while rental car facilities are on site (allowing for a quick drive to the Coyote Hills and Black Gold golf courses just a few minutes away). For golf enthusiasts, the Hyatt Regency is next door to the Harbor Greens Golf Center, which offers putting greens, driving ranges and instruction to visitors.

It has three restaurants on the premises, which emphasizes a casual atmosphere, along with a sports bar and snack shop. The outdoor pool contains a bar as well. North-side rooms provide an excellent view of Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure--along with private balconies to take maximum advantage of it. Rental car agencies can get you to area golf courses, with Harbor Greens just a few blocks to the south.

Residence Inn Marriott
Those looking to enjoy Anaheim on more of a budget can check into the Residence Inn Anaheim, another Disney Good Neighbor hotel. It offers a range of options for visitors--four blocks from Disneyland, an equal distance from Harbor Greens, and a rental car desk on the premises to let you drive to nearby gold courses. The suites have kitchens--allowing you to save money by preparing meals yourself--and the Anaheim Resort Transport offers shuttle service to Disneyland for a small fee. A breakfast buffet is available every morning, and the setting has a family atmosphere for those with kids. A pool and Jacuzzi are both available to guests.
