If you're visiting Anaheim Stadium (also known as Angel Stadium) for a golf exhibition or show, or even a ballgame, you can further indulge your passion by shopping at the Roger Dunn Golf Shop, just 1.3 miles up the 57 freeway; hitting a few at the Islands Golf Center driving range; or playing a few rounds at River View Golf, whose 18 holes are stretched over the banks of the mostly dry Santa Ana River. At just half a mile away from the stadium, the nonsmoking TownePlace Suites features a full-service business center, copy and fax services, complimentary parking, pool, exercise room and on-site laundry. A picnic area, beauty shop and Hertz car rental are nearby.

All the guest rooms have an ample, well-lit desk, personalized voice mail and free Internet access. Though rollaway beds aren't allowed, the sofa converts into a sleeper. Managed by the upscale Hilton Hotels, this multistory property has a pool, fitness room, meeting rooms, a business center, audio/visual equipment rentals, copy and fax service, gift shop, newsstand and a multilingual staff. You'll also find an Atrium Café and Bar in the 10-story atrium lobby. Parking and Internet access are each offered for a fee.
