Late Night Restaurants in San Francisco

Late Night Restaurants in San Francisco
Enjoy a game of golf at Lincoln Park Golf Course, overlooking the Pacific Ocean near the Golden Gate Bridge. When you finish, instead of checking your watch to make sure you make it to a restaurant that closes early, feel free to go out for drinks and relax for a while. San Francisco is home to several excellent restaurants that stay open late.

NOPA

NOPA is open for dinner from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Reservations are accepted and recommended during the early evening but are less necessary in the later evening. The menu changes frequently, but some of the most popular items are always available. The grass-fed hamburger with pickled onions and french fries is highly recommended, as is the grilled pork chop. Both of these are always on the menu. Other items sometimes on the menu include a Moroccan vegetable tagine with toasted almonds and lemon yogurt, and housemade tagliatelle with cauliflower cream, capers and bottarga. As of November 2009, prices for entrées range from $18 to $26.

The Brazen Head

The Brazen Head, which serves steaks and other American cuisine, is open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Its signature dish is a New York strip pepper steak with brandied veal demi-glazed cream sauce. In addition to steaks, chicken, pork and veal, this restaurant also offers fish dishes, such as a grilled Pacific salmon filet with sweet basil beurre blanc. The French onion gratinee is an excellent choice if you are in the mood for soup. Prices for entrées range from $15.95 to $26.95 as of November 2009, and reservations are not required.
